Nearly $9,000 raised. I am a man of few words, and the correct words to express how I feel are not among them. Suffice it to say, I am overwhelmed with such a rich and deep mix of emotions right now, deeper, more wide-ranging, and more immediate than I have ever felt before. I thank you all so much from the bottom of my soul. I only hope that the work and its results are worthy of such an outpouring of kindness and generosity, and are able to spread some genuine recognition and understanding.

Separate in affect, but equal in scope–

We’re excited to announce our Kickstarter campaign will officially launch at midnight tonight. Tell everyone you know and help put This Has Happened into as many hands as possible.

This Has Happened: Status Update

Hello all,

We’ve been getting a lot of great feedback on the website. Thanks so much for your support, and don’t forget to send your friends the link.

I am currently hard at work editing the video for our Kickstarter campaign, which will be the final piece of the proposal we will submit to Kickstarter to be approved as a worthwhile project. Barring any unforeseen technical problems (but really, can tech issues be considered unforeseen?), look for a video preview in the coming days.

In the meantime, Jeannine and I are putting the final touches on a prototype of This Has Happened to be sent off for a test run. Look for photos when we get our test copy.

Jeannine is also working on an exclusive postcard image that will be available to Kickstarter donors. Stay tuned for more on that.

We have been touched by the outpouring of support we have received from all of you thus far. Your good thoughts and interest mean the world to us, and we hope to reward that interest with a finished book in the very near future.

Hello all,

Jeannine and I have been hard at work adding final touches and polishing the rough edges of This Has Happened. We’re tremendously excited about how it’s turning out, and can’t wait to get it out there. As we’re dotting our t’s and crossing i’s, I am putting together our proposal for Kickstarter.com to help us secure funding for printing and publishing. We’re also busy editing the video we will use for the Kickstarter page when we have one. There’s a lot going on! We’re so happy to see so much interest for our project on Facebook.
